Let the 3rd Trimester Begin!
So with the last week in March comes the first week in our last trimester. Baby Williams is moving constantly and still loves to hear Daddy's voice. We are very busy trying to make room for her and are cleaning every room in the house. I actually have a printed schedule of what needs to be done each week up to the birth...so if she comes early, we will be off schedule! This week we were just supposed to clean the bedroom, but I decided I don't like the color anymore, so Josh's grandma and I went out and picked a new color, new curtains, new quilt, and new wall hangings and Josh and I will be redoing the room this week while we are both on Spring Break. Pictures will be coming soon.
I had my glucose test last week and do not have gestational diabetes, which is great! I start going to Akron General every week to have the baby monitored for 30-45 minutes, starting this Tuesday. Weight gain is still less than 10 lbs...but I had a funny quote from one of my students that I have to share. Last week I got my hair cut, and when I went to school, one of my students says, "Mrs. Williams, I love your new haircut! It only makes your face look a little chubby!" Yikes!

One Week Left in 2nd Trimester! Yikes!
So, yesterday started Week 27 and the LAST week of the 2nd trimester. We are actually starting to think this could be a reality! While sitting on the patio enjoying the weather last night, Josh said how weird it is that right now, we don't know who she is, what she looks like, or even her name, but in a few short weeks, our entire world will revolve around her. I'm still not very big (to others) but Josh and I think I'm huge! I've gained about 7 lbs...wish it could stay that way during the rest of the pregnancy! I think it helps that I'm running around at work all day and that I have to climb 2-3 flights of stairs multiple times a day to get places. My students are getting very excited as well. As far as her name...Josh isn't bending from Leah and I have Molly set in my mind. No decisions will be made until she is born.
I feel great at the moment...minor hip pain at night, a somewhat nasty disposition when people irritate me, but other than that I'm good...however I heard trimester 2 is sort of the "honeymoon" period, so looks like the honeymoon is almost over. Here are a few pictures of us enjoying our friends Matt, Marsha, Frank, and Margy before baby comes and takes over the world!! :-)

Back to Emergency!
As you all know, this pregnancy has understandably been filled with a lot of anxiety. All day today, I didn't feel the baby move much, but thought nothing of it since I was at work and moving. Once I got home, I sat for over 1/2 hour, and still felt nothing. Being cautious, I called my doctor and he, of course, sent me to the hospital. And, of course, she started kicking immediately and her heartbeat was nice and healthy. That didn't stop them from keeping me for 2 HOURS though. Needless to say I was not in a great mood by the time I left there! But it was worth it to know that she is doing fine and Mommy is just a paranoid, anxiety-filled wreck!

First Video
So, baby Williams was moving like crazy and Daddy decided to get out our new video camera. Of course, she stopped, but here is some cute footage of the puppies!

26 week update
So, I went in for my 26 week check-up today and everything is looking great! The baby is either doing gymnastics or jumping jacks in there all the time. She moves nonstop, so she must have inherited Daddy's ADHD genes. The doctor teases me every time I'm in there because he hasn't heard from me between appointments. For those of you who don't know, I went through a crazy period where I constantly thought something was wrong and was paging him all the time...he keeps telling me that it never bothers him at all...but I think he is lying!!
According to 26 weeks, she is about 2 lbs and about 15 inches. My doctor says I am measuring at about 27 weeks. I don't know how, because I'm still pretty small. I'm also having second thoughts on her name...we had decided on Leah Elizabeth, but I have some strange little desire to name her Molly Elizabeth...I'll keep you posted...

24 Weeks!
Tomorrow will be week 25...finally...and baby is moving like crazy. I think she has moved without a break for the past 4 days straight. I now feel kicks about 2 inches above my bellybutton. We put together the new dresser last night and are still rearranging furniture in the micro-mini baby room to make it all fit! We have 15 weeks left to go!!!
