Yes...No...

This video was taken when we got back from Illinois. Leah is 2 months old! This is the cutest thing I've ever seen...we watch it all the time! Ok...so I have no idea why there is no sound...

Vacation and 2 Month Pictures

Leah turned 2 months old while we were on our vacation in Illinois at the Griswold Compound! She smiles a lot now and she is very interactive. She likes when we count to five... she starts grinning when we get to 2. She also like to play "Yes...No..." We have a short video of her shaking her head yes...hopefully we will post it soon!

Her legs never stop moving! She will be crawling soon enough!

This picture was taken when we got home. She did very well in the car. She slept almost all 8 hours on the way home...but we left at 3:00 am!

This is Leah and her best buddy, Owen. Owen calls her "Baby YaYa" which is adorable! He takes very good care of her. He brings her a pacifier and her blankie whenever she cries.

Leah's first bathing suit! She is too little to actually get in the pool, but she is never too little to dress up and look the part! And every girl needs an extra large sun hat!!

Leah spends most of her days smiling now! She has a good routine...still not sleeping through the night, but she gets up around 3:00 and 6:00 every night.

Everyone agrees that she looks just like her daddy! She is quickly growing out of her newborn clothes and has started wearing some 0-3 month clothes. She is out of newborn diapers and is now wearing size 1.

She loves playing on her play mat and will lay in it for over an hour batting at the toys and listening to the music.

She is starting to make some cooing noises, but not very often yet. She will mostly coo and smile when we change her diaper...maybe that means she will potty train easily because she hates a wet diaper!

Leah is getting bigger and bigger everyday. She enjoys "tummy time" a few times a week. She is starting to lift her head and chest and she even rolled over from her tummy to her back twice on July 11...exactly 1 month old!
Leah has also found her thumb!! We aren't big fans of pacifiers, but we use one daily, however Leah doesn't seem to like it. She will either spit it out right away, close her mouth so we can't put it in, or...my personal favorite...she will gag on it. Her thumb on the other hand is a different story!
She goes to the doctor on Thursday for her 1 month check up, but we are sure she is over 8 pounds and has grown a few inches. She is still wearing her newborn clothes, but not for long!!
I have no idea what she is doing in this picture, so we are guessing she is saying "Piss off LeBron!"
Here she is after one of her many baths. She goes through 2 outfits everyday because she poos so much it goes all the way up her chest! She is now making eye contact with us and she is grinning a lot. No big smiles yet, but she looks amused with us! She is on a very good schedule. Naps in the afternoon and then bath at 9:30, bed at 10. She usually gets up around 2:00 to eat, and then at 6:00.

Leah LOVES taking a bath each night. She is in a great routine...bath at 9:00, eat, bed by 10:00, then she will get up at 1:00 for her first feeding. I think we are both getting used to the lack of sleep because we are hardly taking naps anymore!
