Leah is beginning to look like a combination of us both. She has my facial features, but Josh's light eye and hair color (and small ears). She has quite the personality! We still call her chickie, but now we call her ham bone as well, because she is such a ham. She has this funny smile and laugh that I swear she does just to be cute! She says mama, dada, and irb (bird). Susan says she cracks up everytime she pictures Leah saying "irb".
She can identify about 20 different things (ex. light, fan, clock, kitty, Max, Remy, bird, mama, dada, etc.) by pointing to them when you say the name. She does the motions to "Pat-a-Cake" when you sing it, and is starting to do motions to "Itsy Bitsy Spider". Her favorite book is Llama Llama Red Pajama, and she will cry when we get to the last page!
She refuses to crawl, walk, or stand, but she can scoot on her butt in a circle, and she kicks so hard in the tub that I get soaking wet everytime! She waves to EVERYONE while we are in a store, so of course everyone has to stop and talk to her. It takes me half an hour just to run in and get 1 thing.
Her hair is out of contrtol...can't wait until she is a year old so we can get a trim. She gets into trouble when she blows raspberries while we are feeding her, or when she teases the dogs with food. She eats real food now, along with her baby food.
She is extremely tiny for her age, but the doctor says she is healthy! She weighs about 16 lbs. and can still fit into some 3-6 month clothes. Because she is so tall, she has to have 9-12 month jammies.
So that is Leah in a nutshell! Pictures to come...need to get them on the computer!
